Eric F. Risley is a 22 year investment banking veteran who has spent the past 16 years based in Silicon Valley assisting technology companies across the globe with strategic M&A and financing transactions.
Eric is the Managing Partner and founder of Architect Partners, providing M&A advisory services to clients globally.
Prior to founding Architect Partners, Eric was Senior Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Rutberg & Company LLC. Rutberg & Company, LLC is the worlds most well recognized research boutique focused solely on the wireless and digital media sectors and annually hosts the exclusive Wireless Influencers Conference.
Prior to Rutberg, Eric ran the Software Corporate and Investment Banking practice at Banc of America Securities LLC. Eric built one of the leading software investment banking practices on Wall Street, working with a combination of established and emerging software vendors.
Prior to Banc of America Securities, Eric founded and ran the Software and Internet Investment Banking practices at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. and CIBC World Markets. Eric was a co-founder of Oppenheimer's West Coast Technology Investment Banking practice in 1993. Eric also had the opportunity to act as a Venture Partner with the affiliated ventures funds run by GKM and Osprey Ventures.
